On Tuesday the MLK Jr. fire near Elmore Road was 25.2 acres; as of Thursday evening, it still sat at 25.2 acres — no spread at all since the fire erupted on July 2.

Division of Forestry incident commander Trevor Kauffman says they've found several small fires around the edge of the main blaze, but none of those stops have been larger than 10 feet square.

Kauffman says crews now have a fire hose line around the entire perimeter and that more crews were brought in Thursday to help make sure the fire does not move out of containment lines.
