Three people were struck and injured Thursday by a car at one of Palmer’s busiest intersections, local police said.

Palmer Police Chief Lance Ketterling said the collision, at West Arctic Avenue’s intersection with North Alaska Street, was first reported at about 11:20 a.m. The injured pedestrians had been crossing Arctic in a crosswalk when they were hit by a 2004 Toyota Camry headed west.
